It might be kinda hard to make it much smaller...I had a PS3 for a couple weeks and it felt solid...like there was little empty space on the inside.
On the other hand, the 360 should be able to. Seems to be more empty space inside. They could also get rid of the Bulky DVD drive and swap it for a slim drive.
I agree. This is a good deal over all. People fail to realize that some people will not make all the payments!
This could also mean that games will continue to be developed for many years to come for 360 if millions of people are getting this "Xbox Lite" console (just my speculation that its going to be the "Xbox Lite".
Games will just have to be downloaded...which is what Microsoft has always wanted. They may even develop a Wii U like tablet for it down the road.
Xbox 720 will target hard core gamer...while Xbox Lite targets the others.
I agree. It also seems as though Microsoft may add additional Media benefit for people on ths $15/mo. plan.
The real rip-off deals are those places that rent TV's and furniture and stuff.
I'm wondering if this is going to be that "Xbox Lite" console with no DVD Drive I have been seeing on the internet...would make sense since it kind of has the form factor of Roku and Apple TV.
I figure they could fit all the 360 chips in there (maybe they have shrunk the die size). The DVD drive in Xbox Slim seems to take up about half the space inside the console.
I paid $74.99 + Tax for Street Fighter 2 Turbo, when it came out for Super Nintendo. $49.99 - $59.99 has always been a typical new game release price since release of SNES. I have no idea what new NES games cost. Adjusted for inflation...

Surly Nintendo will have a standard controller. If it can only support one touch screen controller...what are the other controllers like? I would think the Wii U, is not strictly a One Player System. If so, they should not even release the system.

It would have been better if Nintendo spent an extra $20.00 on CPU and $40.00 on GPU so this system could support at least two touch screen pads + have better graphics.

I would also think better voice recognition, and better AI. They can always do software updates and add new things and peripherals.
